Yangshuo River View Hotel

The room was clean, with a lovely balcony and fine views of the Li River.

Lift access would be beneficial.

I had a beautifully decorated room with a terrace and a nice balcony, liked it. There was free Wi-Fi in all rooms and the service in general was EXCELLENT.

We loved this lovely small hotel with river views. The service was great, we had a savoury and tasty breakfast. The property had a central location and it was minute walk from The Assembled Dragon Cave. There was an attached restaurant nearby.

Bad smell lingered in the corridor on the 4th floor. Old carpet on the stairs needs replacement. Breakfast starts late at 8:30 AM, inconvenient for early tour-goers. Paid extra for a river view but was disappointed by trees blocking it. Climbing to the 4th floor is tough for anyone not fit.

The location is excellent. Near to the bars so it was convenient even after drinking till the midnight. The price was economical.

Some of us were living on 2/F in the so-called riverview room, but the view was completely blocked by the trees outside! Yet the price was about double of the no view room.... Also the air-conditioner was very bad as it was no cool enough even after turning on for 30 mins.

What a good experience! The traditional style of the hotel mixed with modern comforts was perfect. I woke up to beautiful river views from my Double Room with Balcony and enjoyed the delicious local cuisine offered at the busy restaurant on the ground floor.

Great location, next to the river and a few minutes walk from the ferries. Very good service from the girls in the reception (and they speak english!)

The staff was very helpful when we needed to go to the police station because our mobile phone was lost.

And really, i expected at least a complimentary tea or something for having to climb those stairs! The trees literally blocked my precious river view, just sad.

Everything was fine, rooms are confortable and clean. The valcony and river sound is very nice and relaxing after a full bike tour day.

Staff was nice i mostly liked the location , in front of the river.

Being on the street side, in a shopping area , it can be noisy if you don't close the window.

The location is perfect by the river, and the balcony view was fine. The traditional local food was amazing and came highly recommended. I felt very special when they gifted me tea upon departure.

Airco didn't work well because of dirt. We cleaned it ourself, then it worked very well.

The location is the best. Easily accessible to places that we needed to go and to get what we wanted. It is facing the Li River which makes the environment very relaxing and beautiful. The room is clean with basic amenities for travellers. Staff were friendly and information was readily available. It is also value for money during my stay. I chose the hotel because of many reasons - location, rate, basic amenities and information available to us. I traveled with my mom, just the two of us. So I cannot answer the question 3 below.

I do not want to say that this was something I do not like but I would like to highlight it for other travellers benefits. There were a few days that they had forgotten to provide the green tea that they suppose to provide, so I went down to request for it from the person in charge on the first day and I ignore it when they forgot again the other day. They also had forgotten to provide shampoo and body shampoo for two days. Since we still had other left with us, we just ignore it. We did not request from them on these items. Also, I think they should have a cupboard for us to hang our clothes. We left one of the towel on the floor to dry our foot and it was not changed for one day. So we made sure to keep the used towel in the sinky before we left the room, then they were all changed.
